Job Description:
The Lead position will be accountable for ensuring all aircraft are catered safely, on-time and to specification. Leading a Coordinator group, the Lead role will drive compliance with all catering partners and vendors by leading plans for operational readiness while measuring performance against targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other architects, developers, SMEs, project managers, analysts, business stakeholders, etc, to provide optimal solutions that are aligned with corporate strategies while being open minded to other ideas and not driving a specific agenda.
- Responsible for validating, refining, and expanding the architecture model by verify assumptions, bringing in subject matter experts, etc. Improve the model by adding as necessary new ideas to make the result more flexible and more tightly linked to current and expected requirements.
- Responsible for tracking and evaluating emerging trends relevant to enterprise architecture in both IT and the airline industry and maintain a strong relationship with appropriate vendors and business partners.
- Accountable for providing roadmaps (i.e. high-level views of technology and the organization from which plans are created and/or evolved). Roadmaps will include business growth opportunities via technology, functional areas to focus on and where to invest technology dollars, etc.
- Responsible for helping set and maintain architectural standards, as derived by corporate standards bodies such as Architecture Boards or equivalent.
- Accountable for representing the organization’s end-to-end view of the architecture by understanding all the necessary business components, maintaining architectural design and documentation at a landscape and technical reference model level, with focus on the enterprise-level business functions provided by IT.
- Accountable for ensuring overall architecture integrity and maintain the vision of the offering from an architectural perspective. Identify leverage opportunities using building blocks and liaise between the functional groups to ensure that the leverage opportunities are realized.
Job Requirements:
- Strong personal and professional skills with the ability to respond tactfully to difficult scenarios and foster diplomacy in solutioning
- Significant experience in all major areas of IT.
- Ability to stay abreast of industry / competitor trends and identify new technology risks, threats opportunities and challenges.
- Disciplined, method-driven execution
- Leadership skills in providing knowledge, mentorship and technical guidance to other team members
Qualification & Experience:
- Full lifecycle experience to understand construction, implementation, and management aspects of the solution lifecycle
- Appropriate technical skills and experience, including technical breadth
- Bachelor’s Degree (Technical/Business/Scientific)
- Minimum 10-15 years related experience.
- Skilled and experienced in producing IT architecture artifacts
