Job Description:
The Central Operations team within GM work to provide tools, applications and processes to improve the operational efficiencies on a range of business critical activities and play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve processes and develop/enhance policies & processes through the development of new applications
Optimising and managing existing in-house bespoke web applications that support our promotion planning process and GM’s reporting suite - Following our Business Code of Conduct
- Championing a self-service analytics approach through automation, education, and training – building capability within the team (both in UK and HSC) by sharing best practices & working with experts across the business
- Working with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and that implemented solutions meet their requirements
Job Requirements:
- Personal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Able to build solid working relationships with peers
- Data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Micro Strategy) (preferred, but not essential)
- Fluent in MS Office suite
- Flexibility, ability to plan and organise, responsiveness, creativity, self-starter
- Effective prioritisation
- Customer focus
- Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
- Basic SQL coding
- Attention to detail and methodical working
