Job Description:

Becoming a Warehouse Transport Service Clerk gives you a crucial and active role in our distribution operation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all Warehouse / Transport routines are adhered to at all times and housekeeping is done every single day to ensure smooth running of the system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receipting of purchase orders
• Monitoring of pick and replenishment control screens for chill
• Completion of POD paperwork
• Release of products for picking
• Liaise with goods in checkers and Supply Chain, regarding discrepancies and order progress
• Liaise with shunters, transport regarding deliveries/trailers
• Investigation of back picks, suspended picks & replenishments
• Releasing orders for checking and put away
• Dealing with drivers and receipt paperwork
• Despatch confirmation

Job Requirements:

• Planned and organised, with the ability to be responsive, adaptable and innovative
• To complete other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business
• Able to work under pressure, work to timescales
• Able to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Confident to complete tasks individually
