Staples Job Application – Temporary Part Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description:

Temporary Position – 90 day assignment with opportunity to be converted into a permanent direct employee at the end of the assignment or sooner!

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
• Process customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals

Job Requirements:

• Use of proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• While performing duties of the job, the employee may operate warehouse equipment
• Work in a warehouse environment, which includes working throughout seasonal temperature variations

Qualification & Experience:

• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
• Ability to maneuver, lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business needs
• 3 months warehouse or applicable experience to include, but not limited to: fast-food (utilizing headset a plus), stockroom, working with racking systems, customer service, package handling, etc.
• All Applicants are subject to passing a criminal background check and may or may not require a drug screen.
• Stand/walk 8 -10 hours per day with or without reasonable accommodation
