Job Description:

The Sr. Analyst, Email Marketing is responsible for building, segmenting, deploying and reporting on email campaigns. This position works alongside their strategy, creative, technical, and account teams to develop and automate customer touch-points. This role supports operational and revenue goals. You will maintain our monthly email calendar and identify ways to increase email engagement. This role requires excellent copy-writing, editing, and communication skills. This position requires knowledge of CAN-SPAM and HTML.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops associated assets for Spirit.com.
  • Develops content strategies that maximize Guest engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Works with brand to ensure all communications are brand compliant.
  • As an email marketing expert, ensures compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations.
  • Develops and executes testing plans and makes recommendations on optimizations.
  • Utilizes segmentation strategies to deliver the right message to the right Guest at the right time.
  • Owns loyalty/partner email calendar and coordinates with owners of other campaigns.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure goals are met.
  • Analyzes, optimizes and reports on key performance metrics. Addresses significant variances and provides recommendations for improvements.
  • Manages the planning, development and execution of loyalty and partner email campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • HTML and coding skills preferred.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Up to 10% travel.
  • Self-driven, comfortable with fast-paced working environment; and is able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently, yet can also collaborate effectively with larger team.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; strives for high degree of precision.
  • HTML knowledge required.
  • Deep understanding of email marketing and Oracle Responsys platform.
  • 3+ years relevant email marketing and direct to consumer marketing experience required; retail, e-commerce industry or email marketing agency
  • Provides quality assurance on creative deliverables; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
