Due to our fast growth, we are always on the lookout for great Customer Service Representatives to join the team!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fast paced, high energy and award winning. Taking over 40,000 calls per week we strive to handle all calls at first response – no one likes repeating themselves! We provide a high quality service to our trade and DIY customers who order from our catalogues and website.
  • Starting in our Training Team you’ll begin to take our general calls. You’ll then go on to provide excellent customer service to all Screwfix Customers. From receiving a call from someone wishing to place an order, to providing additional product information or helping a customer with a Trade Counter query; you’ll ensure outstanding customer service is delivered every time.
  • Your proactive conversations and ‘can do’ attitude will ensure you identify opportunities to drive further sales to work towards meeting team targets.

Job Requirements:

  • Product knowledge is not essential as you’ll receive top notch training, have the support from our wider team, and excellent tools to help you through your day. That said; a passion, interest or experience in DIY would be a great start.
  • You’ll need a good standard of IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • You’ll be great at engaging with customers, creating a personal and positive experience through building strong relationships and rapport. Thriving under pressure you’ll possess a good level of resilience – our Contact Centre can get very busy! Good at problem solving and with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, you’ll be comfortable talking to a variety of people with a wide range of requirements and finding the right solutions.
