Job Description:
The Ravn Alaska Flight Attendant is responsible for overall cabin security whenever passengers are onboard, including takeoff, landing and en-route phases of flight. The Flight Attendant ensures the safety and comfort of passengers, providing exceptional customer experience and satisfaction in each interaction. Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards in the work environment or when confronted with an unsafe situation. Promoting a positive Safety Culture with co-workers, following accident prevention procedures, and supporting the organization in compliance with Safety Management System (SMS).
- Upholding safety by Ensuring all work is accomplished in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) and the Company’s Flight Attendant Manual (FAM);
- Prior to each flight, performing a thorough cabin pre-flight inspection and ensuring that the flight’s Captain/Pilot in Command has been informed of any known discrepancies or safety concerns;
- Embodying the spirit of connectedness by demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and positive energy to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction on each flight and in each interaction;
- Demonstrating commitment to our passengers by thoroughly delivering important safety requirements essential to an enjoyable flight by performing required safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with programs such as Exit Seating and Carry-On Baggage;
Job Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English, and able to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing;
- Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the position which require the ability to lift and maneuver 20 lbs. on a regular basis, and may involve lifting and maneuvering up to 60 lbs.;
- Must be authorized to work in the country without employer sponsorship;
- Must be located in Anchorage, Alaska or be willing to relocate within 30 days if not already residing within 1 hour of Anchorage. Please note, Flight Attendant’s on reserve must be able to report to duty within 1 hour of a call out;
- Must be able to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays;
- Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extreme temperatures;
Qualification & Experience:
- Must have previous professional experience in a customer service environment; previous experience as a Flight Attendant is preferred;
- Must possess High School Diploma/GED;
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to serve alcoholic beverages;
