Job Description:
As a Senior Industrial Engineer Analytics, we will utilize your expertise to support operations across the North America Supply Chain. You will use your analytical approach, communication skills, and engineering background to act as a process and data subject matter authority on a team responsible for executing multiple simultaneous engineering projects. You may be tasked with developing and implementing analytical models and simulations, identifying and measuring key supply chain metrics to enhance business results, and driving the creation of interactive and user-friendly analytical tools that enable fact-based decision-making processes and executive storytelling. Responsibilities include development of business cases and executive level communication in support of Nike Inc. business strategies and goals. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a close relationship with partners in all functional areas within the supply chain management teams. In this role you will mentor other members of the team to ensure maximum knowledge transfer and use of your expertise. In addition, you will train and develop key personnel on changes introduced through supply chain initiatives
Job Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with discrete event simulation methodology including AnyLogic is a plus
- Experience in dashboard development using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Some small shift flexibility may be required but is not common. Work may require candidate to work on the day, night or weekend shift for short periods, depending on the needs of the business
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in various WMS systems and Cognos.
- Advanced skills in SQL, Database Management, and data blending tools such as Alteryx is a preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Outstanding communication & influence skills, strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Ability to review analytical data and settle best course of action for all areas within current scope.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills including influencing skills and the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Solid understanding of applied statistics methods, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong project management, problem structuring, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of validated experience in data analysis, performance measurement analysis, distribution systems and material handling equipment, strategy development, capital project
- management, or continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate successful ability to execute against multiple priorities simultaneously.
