This Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources Department. This position is primarily responsible for administrative duties in the HR Department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate leave of absence paperwork and tracking to include voluntary layoffs, FMLA, Military leave, etc.
  • Fields and responds to employee concerns, including policy, benefits and payroll questions
  • Oversee factory training matrix; coordinate and factory training facilitation and preparation
  • Coordinate the job posting application process, recruiting efforts, applicant tracking, phone interviews and target selection interviewing and scheduling.
  • Assists with annual Regulatory Compliance and internal audits.
  • Facilitates New Hire and Benefits Orientation and Beginning the Journey.
  • Assists with the Annual Wage Survey Process.
  • Coordinate the performance review process
  • Be an active participant in the factory’s employee engagement team.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or the consumer products industry desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access), SAP experience a plus!
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work self-directed with a sense of urgency
  • Takes a customer focused approach to the needs of employees and leaders
  • Associates degree or higher in Human Resources or related field

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ability to gain trust and credibility with employees; Excellent relationship building skills with people at all levels and in all functions
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a Generalist capacity
  • Understanding and adherence to Nestle Water’s Aspirations and Beliefs
  • Knowledge of appropriate federal and state regulations needed
