Job Description:

Our sites are fast paced, every changing and extremely demanding. Our Production Planners are the ones who ensure full availability of orders at all times whilst maintaining the end to end supply chain. We take great pride in ensuring we have 100% availability of the freshest products delivered to our stores on time, and in full – so the role of Production Planner is a pretty important job.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and call offs of Raw Material requirements and communicate to external suppliers, working closely with production sites, supply chain, commercial, suppliers and technical
• Managing the long and short term production plans across the site and communicating cross-functionally with the relevant departments
• Ensuring full availability of orders and ingredients at all times
• Creating regular reports to the business in order to support business improvement and report on Key Performance Indicators per shift

Job Requirements:

• Be experienced in demand planning with a strong understanding of forecasting tools or production scheduling
• Ideally have formal Supply Chain qualifications such as CIPS or NVWQ (although not essential.)
• Be able to work at pace to deliver accurate results, and will be a strong communicator with people at all levels.
• Have excellent skills within Google systems and Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint alongside working knowledge of MRP or scheduling systems such as Oracle
• Have worked as a Manufacturing Advisor, Production Planner or equivalent, within a fast paced manufacturing environment, not necessarily within food manufacturing, although this would be a bonus.
