Job Description:

The HO Promotions department is instrumental in the organization and implementation of weekly promotional activity, including Limited Offers, Non Food, Plants and Seasonal Campaigns. The role involves managing one of the key promotional areas, working closely with stakeholders from across the business to drive the promotional area forward by optimizing existing processes and identifying new opportunities. The role will involve daily communication with various stakeholders, including Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing, Merchandising and Regional Distribution Centres.

Job Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end campaign management of a key Promotional area driving Promotional Turnover share
  • Demand planning, volume forecasting and stock allocation for our regional distribution centres
  • Working closely with team members to set up Limited Offers, Non-Food & Seasonal promotions in our systems
  • Reviewing KPIs, monitoring performance when promotions are live and making decisions for future campaign implementations
  • Sales analysis and central decisions for price changes and stock returns to maximize stores merchandising space and turnover and minimize write offs
  • Communicating and liaising with other departments such as Buying, Marketing, Logistics, the Regions and International
  • Identifying ways to improve our allocation quality and stock availability in stores
  • Optimizing Supply Chain processes and involvement in projects
  • Providing technical solutions and support to regional Supply Chain teams

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication with the confidence and composure to liaise with internal departments
  • Proven data driven mindset
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to critical deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn
  • An engaged team player
  • A high degree of adaptability

Qualification & Experience:

  • Previous experience in either Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
