Job Responsibilities:

  • This role will support monthly metric/KPI development as well as carrier scorecard creation. Candidate must be a results’ oriented, self-directed worker.
  • Provide Logistics support for all stakeholders of Henkel Adhesives shipments in North America. Stakeholders include Henkel facilities, customer service, Logistics team members, carriers, customers, Henkel sales, planning, and any other individuals, as appropriate.
  • This role will also have some minor daily tendering responsibilities to stay trained on Henkel’s TMS application.
  • Ability to influence others without authority is a critical skill for success in this role.
  • Must have a high drive to succeed.
  • This role will primarily execute the back-office functions associated with shipment execution.
  • These functions include freight claim management, customer complaints, freight invoice reconciliation, prepay and charge rate application (CPT), and document logistics process management.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving skills (A3 problem solving training a plus)
  • Must be able to handle a high volume of work
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work comfortably in a collaborative team environment

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience in a multi-modal transportation environment (Full TL, LTL, Parcel)
  • Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of Logistics/Supply Chain support experience with freight claims, complaints, and invoice reconciliation
  • Previous experience using a modern TMS preferred (MercuryGate, BluJay, JDA, etc.)
  • Ability to work some off hours as appropriate to meet team requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics (Supply Chain) or Business.
