Job Description:

We have a brand new opportunity available for a Cryptography Analyst to join our Information, Integrity and Protection Team based at Radbroke Hall, Knutsford. In this role, you will lead and manage allocated CMPI functions or services for supported platforms. Lead activities undertaken by the team, to identify and improve any area’s allocated to increase efficiency and advance technical processes. Lead cryptographic activities including development, build and installation activities for automation globally within the supported services. Lead specific allocated team functions to implement project requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive delivery of security standards and Adherence to Group IT Security Standards.
• Ensure appropriate points of contact within the team are provided to first responders to ensure timely resolution of service incidents. These contacts should also manage communication to other IIP team members and stakeholders on the progress of incident resolution
• Management of the Problem, Incident & Change Mgt including root cause identification.
• Comprehensive development of Procedure / process and implementation into production. Management of documentation standards.
• Plan and implement regular BAU and maintenance activities. Work with Governance, Service Management and technical leads to ensure that required, content analysis reporting, application patches, systems upgrades and maintenance are completed in a timely manner
• Project Management, including liaising with project managers, agreeing expectations and driving projects through to delivery for Automation of services
• Ensure inventories remain up to date as new activities are undertaken. Apply rigour to operations and ensure team understanding to maintain appropriate rigour in activities to prevent major losses to the bank from a regulatory and reputational perspective
• Management of Cryptographic infrastructure to include Out of Hours Support processes, ITIL standards and On-Call provision.
• Ensure that proactive monitoring of the health of services are automated or assigned to appropriate people within the team to ensure that any service outages or problems proactively managed.

Job Requirements:

• Developer language skills in the following areas Python, Java, SQL, OpenSSL, Powershell.
• Awareness of Hardware Security modules and cryptographic operations.

Qualification & Experience:

• Certificate Authorites encompassing Certificate standards and delivery within a Global organisation
• Experience in a IT Security management role in an operational environment.
• Windows / Unix Server platform knowledge including, design, build and implementation covering network configuration and activite directory.
