Job Description:
The Property Acquisitions Specialist will support the Senior Property Managers (Acquisitions & Development) in the delivery of New Space in line with Morrison’s New Space Strategy. You will build key internal relationships with; Location Planning, Finance, Cost, Construction and Retail to deliver New Space proposals to the Capitals Approvals Board.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attendance and involvement at cost sign-off meetings
- Working as a supportive and effective team member, assisting with ad hoc projects
- Collating Town reports and controlling the work in progress (WIP)
- Building strong and influential relationships across the business
- Preparation of sites viewing packs
- Collating board packs and meeting deadlines for the Capital Approval Committee
- ‘Your Say’ Forum Involvement
- Tracking team performance against targets
- Analytical support; Production of reports and documents to support the focus of the team
Job Requirements:
- A structured, detailed and process driven approach to planning and organising work
- Genuine interest in Property Development (opportunity to gain RICS qualification)
- Tenacity; determined to achieve the right result
- The ability to influence others and build effective networks
- Ability to review new information, adapt style and develop new ways of working
Qualification & Experience:
- Computer literate, we use G Suite
- Opportunity to travel in the UK for personal development
- Ability to prioritise & flex to the changing needs of the business
- Customer focussed with a positive attitude
- Independent numerate thinker
- Experience of working in fast paced environment with lots of change
