Job Description:

Packages prescription in totes for delivery once accuracy is verified.

Accountable and Reports to (Job Title): GVP, Pharmacy Services; Fulfillment Center Pharmacy Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with loading completed totes into courier vehicles.
• Swaps totes between waves.
• Place prescription bags into a tote for delivery to the patient or retail pharmacy, once accuracy has been verified by a pharmacist.
• Places totes in all locations along sorter line.
• Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
• Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
• Prepares the paper work and compiles medicine for delivery orders and mail outs at the request of the department manager.
• Keeps pharmacy supplies well stocked.
• Verifies prescriptions in totes for shipping accuracy.
• Cleans, empties garbage, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Visual requirements include vision at 20 inches or less with or without correction, field of vision and color vision.

Qualification & Experience:

• Possess the ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another; interview to obtain basic information; guide people.
• Ability to do add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• Must have the ability to follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions; several concrete variables.
