Job Description:
Farnborough International is looking to strengthen its world class team by recruiting an Aerospace Sales Executive to work closely with the Sales Manager to deliver sales targets for Farnborough International Aerospace events including Farnborough International Airshow.
The role involves prospecting and winning new business, key account management as well as achieving up selling opportunities. You will be working at all times with the CRM system and online exhibitor portal delivering the highest levels of client handling and management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Due to the nature of aerospace events, the Exhibitions Department functions on a two-year cycle for FIA duties to cover the full two-year period however you will be working on other Aerospace events throughout this period.
- You will be responsible for the exhibitor ‘up selling’ programme to include the FIL portfolio of commercial opportunities to help enhance our exhibitors’ profile and objectives.
Job Requirements:
- You have strong customer focus skills with an excellent telephone manner and the desire to build pipeline through prospecting including cold calling.
- You will have the relevant working knowledge of Microsoft Word for word processing software and Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet software.
- Your role is key to driving the exhibitor sales operation to meet sales targets to include repeat business and prospecting of new clients, therefore experience and confidence selling to industry people at all levels is a must.
