Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving, documenting, and storing all on-site deliveries received from suppliers, vendors, and REC Warehouse.
- Coordinate loading/unloading teams for large delivery events, including modules, inverters, and balance of system (BOS).
- Verifying and coordinating receipt of material with Project Manager to ensure timely progress payments.
- Control issuance of all materials and tools to on-site construction personnel.
- Maintaining all temporary job site equipment and facilities, site services.
- Itemizing, documenting, preparing unused material and coordinating their return to vendors and REC Warehouse at job close-out.
- Coordinating return material and tools shipments with Logistics and Resource Coordinator.
- Track all non-Bill of Material (BOM) purchases on material tracking tool.
- Control and issue Field Purchase Orders (FPO) for all local purchased material
Job Requirements:
- Effective communication skills across all levels and departments of the organization, customers, vendors and subcontractors
- Previous Construction or related industry experience.
- Experience with project or cost accounting is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work independent of direct supervision
- Decision Making & Problem Solving: Capable or working independently and resourcefully in challenging construction site environments and must have good cost-control decision-making abilities and judgment.
- Be flexible and able to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization
- Detail oriented with the ability to understand key business concepts
- Possess a positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly to rapidly evolving business processes
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
- A background in project administration, project management or construction management, preferred.
- Experience in wholesale material inventorying, shipping, or both
- Working knowledge of electrical and construction materials, equipment, and components and general construction practices
Qualification & Experience:
- HS/GED and 2 plus years work related experience.
