Job Description:
Plan and execute Automotive Engine Oil Product Qualification & Approval programs, assist other Engineers in managing programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and follow test oil blend requirements and shipments
- Identify, book and order engine tests endorsed by TIS Engineers in external/internal laboratories
- Check and update engine and bench test results in Oronite’s internal technical databases (CELTIS and Information Repository)
- Prepare information/data for Candidate Data Package and/or OEM approval request form
- Manage and update PQ Technical databases and train users
- Design and execute AEO product qualification and approval programs in compliance with OEMs and industry codes of practice
- Provide technical support to Sales and other Technical Internal Support teams
- Participate in non-program projects (process improvements, tool enhancements/integration, etc.)
Job Requirements:
- Oral/written communication in English will be required in day-to-day work
- Moderate/extensive PC use for data entry, e-mails, etc. will be required
- Occasional domestic travels may be required (e.g. external testing labs in Shanghai)
- Occasional overseas travels may be required (e.g. training, team meetings, etc.)
