Job Description:
Ensures that payroll are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates with Human Resources and third party payroll service provider, for submission of payroll updates and other pertinent requirements for the local payroll processing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs Accounts Reconciliation — Analyzes and reconciles payroll account balances as assigned.
- Records payroll entries in the ERP for locations handled
- Demonstrate we lead expectations as “influencer” (see We Lead Expectation Matrix : http://hr.chevron.com/welead/leadership.aspx )
- Coordinates employee deductions for labor/credit union and insurance company dues, filing and remittances of SSS/Philhealth/Pag-ibig and payroll taxes to respective governmental agencies
- Handles Pension Accounting and Reporting
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Job Requirements:
- Responds to customer queries in a polite and timely manner, ensuring that the information provided is accurate.
- Responds to customer complaints by gathering facts relative to the incident. Determines cause and assesses impact and determines corrective action. Communicates facts and corrective action to concerned parties and implements long-term preventive action to minimize its recurrence.
- Participates in special projects as assigned by Team Leader and ensures that project objectives are met.
- Contributes in setting goals with team for continuous cost effectiveness and service quality improvement in enhancing cost efficiency in own work.
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
- Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
