Job Description:

The planner scheduler is typically a single logistics position on-board a large, complex, offshore facility. The planner scheduler is required to be proficient and experienced in carrying out key job roles and responsibilities, as described below. This position is logistically responsible for all inbound and outbound personnel & cargo receipt and transport. The planner scheduler will possess required skills for planning and scheduling of all Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tasks. The position plays a key role in business planning, performance reviews and in developing business analysis and reporting tools. The planner scheduler performs a critical role in the facility Incident Command System.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies.
  • carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment, and being prepared to respond to an environmental or safety event.
  • Serves as a key member of incident command team during emergency drills, musters and safety events. Actively and visibly supports HES by demonstrating personal commitment for visible safety leadership to attain Incident Free Operation (IFO). Participates in work process to eliminate hazards and “at risk” behaviors.
  • Actively supports OLT with business planning cycles. Maintains organizational charts and applicable distributions.
  • Provides training/support for business applications, including but not limited to EAM, Smartbox, and timesheets.
  • Maintains training scheduling, facility boarding forms, along with operations schedule 14, 60, 90 day activity forecast to include database for capturing minimum requirements for offshore travel requests (TWIC, SafeGulf, HUET, SSE, etc).
  • Administers all personnel change forms. Administers personnel onboard accounting process (POB) including berthing assignments, minimum manning requirements, Station Bill publication, etc.
  • Works with OLT to update and maintain the facility orientation. Key position responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of transportation for the field including marine, air and land transportation. Works with the Supervisors/Managers, Coordinators, O&M Personnel, Reliability Drivers & Base Business Personnel to develop weekly scheduling of preventative maintenance (PM) tasks in EAM (D7i) and follows through with reporting requirements Key interfaces for Engineering, Projects, Drilling, Aviation and Shorebase groups/teams to ensure logistical plans are properly developed and executed. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating the proper handling, documentation and control of materials, equipment and supplies to support operations and construction activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a High school diploma.
  • Ability and willingness to work a 14 /14 offshore rotational schedule. Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Must be able to attain Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
  • Demonstrated influential leadership skills, 5 or more years of knowledge of production operations in offshore oil and gas.
  • Demonstrated fluency and practical application of safe work practices.
  • Demonstrated application of business and financial acumen.
  • Proven clear/concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to a wide range audience including management, technical, and non-technical levels.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and CMMS (e.g. EAM).
  • Willingness to work in inclement conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers.

Qualification & Experience :

  • At least 1 year operations experience in oil and gas and/or related petrochemical industries or equivalent experience in administrative and/or logistics positions.
