Job Requirements:

• Provide resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope.  Uses judgment within defined practices and procedures
• Administration of Splunk and Splunk ES including data on-boarding, dashboards, knowledge objects, user groups and maintenance of associated infrastructure
• Perform all phases of the incident response life cycle
• Troubleshoot issues within the SIEM using the GUI and the CLI
• Visualization and presentation of data for findings, incidents and security controls
• Monitoring systems and reports to take action and implement preventative measures to keep data, systems and networks secure.
• Maintain a critical eye and attention to detail
• Analyze data to perform application, log, OS, disk, network level analysis for troubleshooting and researching events and alerts, discover and identify its source, purpose, intent, and if malicious or       abnormal, then operate within the incident response procedures.
• Deliver analysis, troubleshooting and forensic investigation of security anomalies which may require periodic, on-call, after hours support, including weekends and holidays.
