Job Description:
As a Digital Product Manager you will be accountable for developing and implementing the proposition and end-to-end product lifecycle. You will have a strong focus on digital delivery, driven by data and research so that digital products and services can be continuously iterated and refined with a customer oriented mindset. You will own feature development as well as the digital roadmap within the product portfolio, covering the build and run aspect of digital product management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to create co-branded campaigns that engage with consumers and demonstrate value
- You will create and execute the digital features in the roadmap by owning the requirements and scope and defining launch parameters
- You will lead digital product design and delivery to maximise benefits for retail consumers, corporate clients and Barclays, using proposition design factors
- Developing relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders across the business and externally to ensure digital products and campaigns meet strategic objectives
- Ensuring that product campaigns achieve the desired standards and effectively deliver against both our commercial and brand objectives
- Supporting the development of useful and usable products across the proposition team that provide a great customer experience and open up new revenue streams
- Influencing the tech stack, date model, APIs, platform and system architecture
- Running the design process, understanding research techniques, designing patterns, service design and listen actively to user feedback to iterate on product and experience
Job Requirements:
- Prior knowledge of online and mobile services, capabilities and trends
- Adept at evaluating economic, market and customer trends affecting the business and its customers
- Proven digital product or proposition development experience gained in a complex Financial Services environment
- The ability to use relevant design, research and presentation software
Qualification & Experience:
- Knowledge of the development, treatment and application of brand principles
- Previous digital product management experience, and understanding how you could contribute to the goals and objectives of the Global Digital & Platform team
- Understanding of the consumer banking product and rewards landscape as well as innovations in that space
