Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global HRBPs in the support of acquisitions, restructurings, and operational excellence activities
  • Translate Commercial global HR needs into inputs for HR COE partners (Compensation & Benefits, Talent, Development, Diversity, etc.) and partner with COE’s in deploying new HR programs globally
  • Support communication and engagement planning for global Commercial talent and organizational changes
  • Support the VP of HR and his senior team on core processes including Talent Measurement, Performance Management, and Workforce Strategy.
  • Facilitate working sessions with Amgen’s Commercial leadership team on HR topics spanning talent, workforce strategy, and other imperatives
  • Lead intra- and cross-functional HR initiatives and passionate about staff development and retention
  • Lead metrics strategy and partner with Commercial clients and HR to interpret data, apply judgment and suggest necessary course of action for resolution

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working in Excel, PowerPoint, and other core platforms
  • Ability to analyze situations and exercise sound judgment in determining appropriate courses of action
  • Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Solid verbal and written communication combined with organizational skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Experience working with cross functional global teams in a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and organizational change
  • Strong quantitative, analytical (technical and business) and problem-solving skills
  • Persistent, tactful, and persuasive team and project leadership, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and handle diverse assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to understand client needs and develop both strategic and tactical solutions to tangible business challenges
  • Solid knowledge of breadth of HR roles, both COE and HRBP
  • Ability to interact, influence and build relationships with all levels of staff, management, and executives
