Job Responsibilities:
- Identify risk and suggest solutions to help mitigate loss.
- Assist with the development and implementation of fraud detection/preventions systems
- Become familiar with and enforce all government and airline security regulations
- Ability to change work schedule as dictated by the needs of the department
- Conduct security oversight of vendor activities on inbound and departing International flights
- Review statistical data regarding pilferage to observe loading/off-loading process
- Conduct motorized and foot patrols of American Airlines’ operational footprint
- Coordinate with Baggage Service, Cargo, Ramp Service and Customer Care Departments
- Act as a liaison with all levels of law enforcement on criminal and security matters
Job Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of budgets, purchasing, scheduling, and inventory procedures
- Knowledge of AWA and Security Services policies and procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a confidential environment
Qualification & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED Equivalency
- 2 years of law enforcement or military experience
- Experienced in conducting witness and suspect interviews
