Job Description:

Full-time union position will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and refurbish amusement rides and their subsystems. The individual will ensure all rides and equipment comply with all operating standards and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Remove and/or replace equipment parts using hand and/or power tools.
• Assist with other duties/departments as assigned.
• Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractions.
• Support the company Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast and Safe Service to our Guests.
• Keep a daily log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance.
• Visually inspect machines and equipment.
• Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractions.
• Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required.

Job Requirements:

• Must be willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clear driving record.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 150ft (would include roller coasters)., crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 50lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Qualification & Experience:

• Mechanical repairs following ASTM ride standards.
• Must be able to use various types of safety and emergency equipment, including respirators and safety harnesses.
• Machining experience working from drawings using lathe and milling machine.
• Must be able to trouble-shoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of Guests and fellow Team Members.
• Must have hand tools to perform required duties and tasks as assigned.
• Pneumatics troubleshooting and repairs working with schematic.
• Welding 6G certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
