Job Description:
The Planning and Reporting Manager would be responsible for both the supply and demand management of our Sales, Service and Engineer workforce and overall operations sales and performance MI requirements with a strong focus on engagement with our stakeholders across Ops, Commercial, Trading and Finance. Our team is focused efficient and effective delivery of MI business reporting and ensuring our operations resource planning for our workforce is scheduled, delivered and executed seamlessly to make sure we provide a first in class service for our business customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Seeking, creating and delivering opportunities within the business to support excellent performance by maximising resource and efficiencies
- Representing planning in projects which would impact the planning directorate
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, driving the team to improve processes and become more efficient
- Work collaboratively with the wider planning team to implement effective end-to-end plans
- Managing a team of analysts, guiding their workload, supporting their day to day activities, and ensuring best balance for our people and customers
- Work with (as required) report developers in developing high quality, accurate reports with a clear presentation layer to enable simple business decision making and metric tracking
- Communicating plans and assumptions to stakeholders, to improve the accuracy of these plans and gain buy in
- Working with data management teams (and IT as required) to productionise new or updated data definitions
- Supporting the delivery of Contact Centre Customer, Commercial, People KPIs and the workforce planning schedule
- Working closely with various Analysts to understand workforce and customer requirements and associated impact on data
Job Requirements:
- To take ownership for your work and responsibility for your decisions, and overall will be viewed by our stakeholders as a subject matter expert who has a global view of our estate and strategy
- The ability to manage, develop and support junior team members
- Self-starter, with the ability to take the initiative with an open and challenging mindset
- Proficient at reading and writing SQL code, ideally within Business Objects environment
- Creative skills with the ability to design outputs with strong visual appeal and good ergonomics
Qualification & Experience:
- To actively seek new and better and more efficient ways of doing things
- Previous resource planning experience within a contact centre environment
- Passionate about exceeding customer expectations
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate key messages and solutions clearly and concisely
- To offer valuable insights and recommendations which support both our Customers and our People
- Excellent data manipulation skills
- Experienced at managing report development to a diverse stakeholders
