Hobby Lobby Job Application – Creative Designer / Stylist

Job Description:

The Designer/Stylist designs and crafts DIY projects to be recreated by Hobby Lobby customers and designs sets and displays for various marketing platforms. This individual also designs and mocks up products to be manufactured and sold in Hobby Lobby stores.

Job Responsibilities:

• Records detailed instructions for each project including supply lists, SKU numbers and relevant tips
• Creates original crafts and/or set spaces based on art direction and needs of the client and target customer
• Completes all assignments on time according to art direction and the needs of the client and target customer
• Ensures crafts and/or sets are photo shoot ready

Job Requirements:

• Learns new techniques, tools and mediums as required
• Maintains current knowledge of design trends
• Follows all Warehouse procedures
• Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between teams

Qualification & Experience:

• Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude
• Follows all Art/Creative safety policies and procedures including the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Adapts to additional duties and tasks
• Maintains a clean and orderly work station
