Job Description:

As an Accounting / Finance Specialist III, you will research and process a myriad of transactions, help Specialists I and II learn more, and also share your expertise by assisting in inter-department training.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handles AR billing; creates creating billing records; applies / monitors payments; monitors balances; resolves issues; reviews payment terms, etc.
• Ensures controls are maintained in managing cash collection processes
• Resolves discrepancies; reconciles AP invoices
• Ensures processes for employee reimbursement and ad hoc payment requests are completed in accordance with company policy
• Processes, researches Center Store and Pharmacy inventories
• Performs processes to support control of the Vendor Master
• Applies appropriate level of accounting skills; follows H-E-B appropriate / documented procedures and internal control framework
• Performs check write process and / or vendor maintenance

• Computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office, and multiple H-E-B systems (e.g., FOCUS, TSO, IMS, STRP, CMIS)

Qualification & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, or related field
• 10-key by touch
• Experience in H-E-B Operations (Store, Plants, Warehouses)
• High school diploma or equivalent
