Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate Programme Lead in the Counter Fraud and Prevention team to realise the huge potential for saving FE providers time and money while increasing the likelihood that potential issues are spotted in time to prevent them.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage stakeholders by setting and meeting expectations, including at senior grades, inside and outside the Agency
- Liaise with ESFA Data Science to ensure that information is extracted and stored efficiently in appropriate Departmental data stores.
- Report progress, risks and issues to the Provider Financial Forecasting Programme Board
- Project Manage the delivery of integrated financial models, including the College Financial Forecasting – – – Return and Finance Record, including their architecture, design and development.
- Engage regularly with colleges, especially finance directors and the College Finance Directors Group of the AoC.
- Propose innovative way to invest-to-save by drafting business cases and, if appropriate, taking these through to ITT and contract management
Job Requirements:
- Excellent stakeholder management and an ability to take a programme view on issues
- Strong communication skills and partnership working, turning requirements into clear commitments to action.
- Strong Excel skills would also be beneficial
- Strong project management skills, with a clear model for handling risks, competing priorities and unclear customer requirements.
- An understanding of programme controls, management and planning
